Even if the new age revival has been to death, I’m also envigorated when a piece of ambient music really strikes me. Meta Mora’s “Evaporated Patterns” is one such tune and it never fails to put my mind at ease (in fact it’s accompanied many of my yoga practices as of late). Flowing soundscapes evolve over its 13+ minutes, floating on a whispy cloud of loose geographic shapes. The music is lighter than air and always effervescent like nothing can bring it out of the sky.
“Evaporated Patterns” appears on Prismatic, which is out now on cassette & digital formats.
