Debby Schwartz is probably not a familiar name to most, but she’s worked with P.G. Six (hail!) and was a founding member of The Aquanettas (who I admittedly have never heard but that’s a great damn name eh?). Whatever may be the case, she’s got a fantastic new album on the way from Twin Lakes called A Garden Of My Own. “London” is from the record and feels timeless. Her voice is cracked and frayed in all the right places that gives a certain weight, like wisdom being delivered from the top of the mountain. It’s enchanting. I can’t wait to hear the whole record.
